so, the time has finally come to lay Quietus to rest. I know there are those of you who still had hopes that the site would remain open, or be passed down to our other staff members, but after deep consideration I have decided that I could not allow Quietus to be run by anyone but myself. It holds too dearer place in my heart. I apologize deeply to those of you whom I have let down, and hope that perhaps one day I will be able to open Quietus up again, although I feel that more than likely, this will have been it's final run. Thank you to all of you who made Quietus great -- I can easily say that of all the versions, this was surely the best. I would like to personally thank those of you that hung on until the end, and in particular Sparrow -- if the site was to ever be left to anyone, it would have been you, and I'm sorry that I couldn't bring myself to do it. I will miss you all, even those of you I had not had the pleasure of roleplaying with yet, and encourage you all to stay en contact with me -- even if we had not yet met. again, I encourage you all to keep in contact with me, and with each other, and I hope that you all have made friendships here, as I know I have. I will leave the site open for a few days for you all to collect your things and say goodbye, if necessary. after that, most things will be taken down to prevent theft, but I will still be able to come on and retrieve bios and such if anyone needs them -- simply email me and let me know.

for those of you looking for a place to roleplay, I encourage you to look into Risking It All. the admin, Vitality, is a close friend of mine and an amazing admin. if I was ever to return to roleplay, it would likely be there. until then, again, keep in contact, I'm sorry, and I'll miss you all dearly. <3
